Description of DVB-T Driver

Gotview Driver License

This driver is required by some TV player apps to access USB TV tuners. In order to receive DVB-T/T2, you need to have both the driver and a TV player app installed at the same.

Currently only the “Aerial TV” app supports this driver. Make sure to download and install Aerial TV in order to receive DVB-T/T2 with this driver.

Gotview Driver License Test

For developers and advanced users, the driver provides a diagnostic mode that allows dumping DVB-T and DVB-T2 transport stream into a TS file. Files are stored on the external storage in the private directory of the app. Files need to be deleted manually.

The app is not available for download in countries that do not use the DVB TV standard.

device wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
after some search, i notified that this 'Conexant Systems, Inc. Hauppauge Inc. HDPVR-1250 model 1196' exist only in the pci.ids
the Hauppage hvr-4400-hd that i have is wrong reported as:

please fix it, looking in the web about this card is really a babel tower with wrong info's since it badly reported as a cx23885 one
many user with this card looking about that string try the most extreme useless workaround for the bad reported not-existent 'Hauppauge Inc. HDPVR-1250 model 1196'

CX885.MC100 is only win driver, not device. Linux driver is cx23885 too. Device is CX23887 or CX23888.
